CSE is moving toward a college-wide p-card policy.
This summer, we will be drafting a purchasing card policy with the intent to implement it college-wide. I will get together a group of administrators and senior accountants, and we will write a proposed policy. The Administrative Council agreed with moving forward with this, and I expect the final policy will be reviewed by that body.
University policy, of course, declares what is and is not allowable and appropriate usage of the purchasing card. The collegiate policy will guide departmental card administrators regarding the consequences of repeated inappropriate p-card usage by individual cardholders. DJP
