ICR Report

If you are interested in how much ICR a project or PI has generated, there is a UM Report for that.

If you are interested in how much ICR a project or PI has generated, there is a UM Report for that.

Go to UM Reports: http://www.umreports.umn.edu/

Search for "Recovery"

You should get one result called F&A Recovery.  Click on that
report and you will come to a prompt screen.  This report allows you to
specify a beginning and ending accounting period.  Going through the setup
screens is slow, but the report runs rather quickly.

You will then come to a familiar UM Reports prompt screen.  There is an
important catch in how this report runs.  All ICR comes in to IT in the
same Deptid, 11055.  It is the CF1 that identifies which unit was
responsible for generating the ICR.  Therefore, if you run this report
on your own Deptid or zDeptid, you will get no data.  You have to
run it either on a specific project or PI, or you have to run it for
the whole RRC (ITXXX), export to Excel, and eliminate all the rows that
aren't relevant to you.

Once you have exported it to Excel, this is an excellent use of an Excel pivot table to make it easier to use.  If you need help with that, let me know.  DJP
