Late Reimbursements

A new travel reimbursement policy is under 30 day review.

Also, from conversations with central personnel, it appears that the interpretation of this policy will be that because all travel reimbursements submitted more than 60 days after the travel will be defined as late, thereby violating University policy, they will be: 1) considered taxable income to the traveler, and 2) not allowed on sponsored funds.  Exceptions to this will require a truly exceptional justification.

Please let travelers in your area know that this may be the University's stance on late reimbursements within the next few weeks, so reimbursements over 60 days late should be turned in ASAP.
